Valentine’s Day Cocktails

Sharing is caring!

Fall in love with these delectably creamy Valentine’s Day cocktails.

Champagne might be the traditional choice to celebrate and it may have more fizz but my guess is that if you’re on this website then gin is your preferred tipple.

I thought I would have a bit of fun this year with an old 13th Century English legend and a chocolate liqueur I am partial to: Godiva Liqueur. In the legend Lady Godiva rode naked on her horse through the streets of Coventry, her modesty protected only by her long hair. It was an attempt to get her husband to revert the heavy taxes he had imposed on the local citizens. Godiva Liqueur would probably have the same effect if you drank a whole bottle.

The Lady Godiva uses fresh raspberries and combines them with chocolate and gin to make a heavenly fruity cocktail. The Lord Godiva packs a greater punch with the tried and tested duo of chocolate and coffee.

Of course, Valentine’s Day Cocktails are good drunk at any time of the year so feel free to dip in!
